Orpheus Sinfonia – Gala Concert

Conducted by Thomas Carroll

A very special Gala Concert brings this 26th Festival to a triumphant close.  We welcome for the first time the Orpheus Sinfonia which includes some of the most talented instrumentalists in the country.    Acclaimed for the excitement and enthusiasm of its music-making, Orpheus’ reputation is growing fast    thanks, in part, to the generous support of many established musicians. The orchestra has featured on BBC Radio 3, BBC World Service and released its debut CD on Signum Classics.   Celebrating Beaminster and all the talent that lies therein, the Festival closes with a glorious concert that epitomises the energy and creativity to be found in this lovely part of West Dorset.
