Chris Chibnall — showrunner, screenwriter, and producer discusses his career and latest writing. HIs writing credits span genres, tones, and global fanbases. But one thing connects them all — his stories speak to us on a human level. They ask questions about loss, hope, identity, and justice.
His work includes Torchwood, Camelot, Law & Order: UK, The Great Train Robbery, Doctor Who (Showrunner 2018–2022) Broadchurch (2013–2017). He is now author of the Sunday Times Best Seller Death at the White Heart.
Chris Chibnall is a BAFTA, Royal Television Society, Broadcasting Press Guild and Peabody award-winning screenwriter, executive producer, and playwright whose work has been seen, translated and remade all around the world. He is the recipient of the prestigious FIPA Prix D’Honneur, and honorary doctorates from Edge Hill University and Sheffield Hallam University.
