Founded and directed by Freddie Crowley, Corvus Consort is a UK-based vocal ensemble comprising some of the country’s most talented young professional singers. Corvus’s refreshing combination of musical excellence, passionate performance and unstuffy presentation makes them hugely popular with audiences up and down the country.
The Corvus Consort and the Ferio Saxophone Quartet join to create magical, haunting sounds, revoicing sacred music you know and love, including the Miserere by Allegri, revoiced by Owain Parke, Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and Brandenburg Concerto No. 3. A very special concert not to be missed, that will make the most of the fabulous acoustic of St Mary’s Church.
