Richard grew up in Cambridge and as a chorister in the Choir of King’s College sang the famous ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ solo at the 2007 Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. He became a prize-winning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists at the age of 18 and has already built up an astonishing international career as pianist, organist and conductor. In January 2023 he took on the role of Director of Music at St George’s Hanover Square, Handel’s church in London.
