The StoryDen is a beautiful bell tent inside which the storyteller brings to life myths, epics, fairytales and folktales from every corner of the world. Children will be inspired to: re-tell the stories in their own words through storytelling & creative writing, discover more stories through their own reading, create and write their own narratives.
We are delighted to invite Emily Hennessey and Sheema Mukhergee, sitar, to visit St Mary’s Academy for a whole day reaching as many children as possible! This is not open to the public.
Emily and Sheema will be enthralling the grown-ups too at a Coffee Concert on Wednesday 26 June, 11.30am with wonderful tales form India, entitled Holy Cow, with music and dance.
